Alan’s Birthday at Ecoba

Celebrated Alan's birthday at Ecoba over the weekend. 

  Lots of drinks and laughter but it felt more like a mini MS gathering to me.

New Life at home

~God’s Gift we found from home leading up from two weeks ago

 

We were so amazed at its details and how well it was built only just one night.

 Two eggs were laid the night after.

In the next two weeks or so birdie mummy has been staying in the nest at night to protect her eggs

Finally, eggs have hatched! Two new birdie babies were born!

It’s little things in life like this that makes you wanna slow down whatever you are doing, put whatever worries behind you and just for a few seconds, enjoy these little things in life.

Smokehouse, Bangsar

Smokehouse, an English and Thai fusion restaurant tucked in the nestled Telawi area.

So Thursday, Piffles and I went there for her belated birthday celebration.

 

Looks like a cozy English home doesn’t it? Reminds me of those B&Bs I used to stay in the countryside.

Happiness is not a pretence. The glow comes from the heart  *wink wink*

 

We had Catfish Salad, Pad Thai and very oddly, Chicken Pie.

Food was so great that I revisited the place with the family again tonight! And this time, we only focused on Thai cuisines. Everybody loved it!

Diver’s Den

Just completed my second diving class last night.

Half way through the class, it started to rain when we were doing our stuff under the water with our regulator on and all that. So I was watching different sizes of raindrops dancing on the surface of water from below, which I find kinda cool.

We have to learn how to install oxygen tank into our BCD jackets, regulator, weight management, all kind of things to expect in times of emergency and how to deal with them etc.

If You Want Rainbow, Then Put Up With the Rain First 

I can’t remember when was the last time I felt this good about a weekend. It was packed to the brim but I’m not complaining at all. :) Watched Iron Man 2 for a charity screening on Fri; had my first diving lesson on Sat morning then FRIM hike in the evening; you bet I would be totally exhausted don’t cha but guess what, this afternoon I also managed to complete 7 laps at the Olympic sized swimming pool and I’m still feeling super energetic right now! Adrenaline is running at its peak after two days of play fun… hmmm and not to mention HY came to stay with me for the weekend too…

    

Super late lunch/ brunch with HongYeen at The Pink Sage

Their latte was a disappointment tho

 Special brunch set and signature chicken salad were oh so yummy

maybe bec I was starving after learning how to fin and tread water for 3 long hours

Full House

We went to FullHouse, a lifestyle cafe along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng a few days ago.

 

 

 

 

Since I can’t say much about the food… I’ll just leave this post as that.
